Jennifer Levine, L.Ac.

Jennifer (Jenny) Levine received both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York. Prior to embarking on this career, she earned a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from NYU. Her desire to understand how and why our physical and emotional health both influence and are influenced by our interactions is a major inspiration behind her work.

In her clinical training, Jenny completed a number of externships, including those at Housing Works in Brooklyn, NYU Langone Hospital, and The Institute for Family Health. While in school, she studied a wide range of techniques to draw from in treatment. Generally, she focuses on Channel Theory, Classical Acupuncture, and TCM/Zang-Fu style, but she enjoys working closely with each individual to determine which techniques and herbs will work best for them.

Jenny treats a wide range of conditions, including—but not limited to—depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, pain syndromes, addiction recovery, headaches, female reproductive health, and digestive disorders. She believes that when people are free from chronic ailments and addictions, and when they have effective strategies for managing stress, they gain the space and energy to move through the world with empathy, compassion, and a deeper sense of well-being.
