Assel Cooperman is a New York-based licensed acupuncturist who began her journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS), where she earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies and a Master of Science in Acupuncture. Her path to Chinese Medicine was inspired by her Shaman, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for the value of serving humanity.

Assel believes in a holistic approach to healing, focused on balancing the mind and body. Her specialties include orthopedic disorders, with a focus on pain management through techniques such as trigger point therapy, electrostimulation, cupping, and gua sha. She also treats fertility issues, autoimmune conditions, and psycho-emotional disorders like stress and anxiety, recognising the broad scope of TCM's healing potential.

In addition, Assel practices Kiiko Matsumoto Style acupuncture, having studied under Vidhya Rojanavongse, a direct student of Kiiko Matsumoto. Her treatments are guided by thorough pulse and tongue diagnostics, with the ultimate goal of helping her patients heal and achieve their highest potential.
