Tara Grant, M.A., L.Ac., NCCAOM

Tara Grant is a licensed acupuncturist with a background in clinical psychology and neuroscience research at UCLA. She has extensive experience working with patients in individual and group settings, focusing on mental health, trauma, and addiction recovery. Tara has worked in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation centers, including the Native American Rehab Association in Portland, Oregon, where she treated patients using the NADA protocol in integrative medical settings.
In private practice, Tara has specialized in reducing stress, anxiety, and managing mental-emotional disorders, including physical and emotional trauma. She also has had great success in a wide range of other conditions such as fertility, women's health, gastrointestinal issues, and chronic pain.

Tara’s passion for helping others is deeply rooted in her own healing journey, where she explored the mind-body-spirit connection through Jungian psychology and various somatic and energetic healing modalities. This journey led her to alchemical acupuncture, where she found her home.

In addition to acupuncture, Tara is skilled in shiatsu bodywork, moxibustion, guasha, fire cupping, trigger point therapy, qigong, herbal formulas, and TCM nutrition. Her treatments are customized to each patient's needs, blending her diverse skills and modalities. She believes true healing comes from integrating trapped energy within the entire system–mind, body and spirit.
Outside of practice, Tara enjoys creative writing, painting, practicing qigong and yoga, and spending time with her family and dog, Karly.
