Angelica Lopez, LMT
Angelica has always been in absolute wonder of the human form as an expression of art particularly in the mediums of photography and sculpture. As a young dancer using her body as an instrument to convey graceful expressions through movement expanded her awareness of the human anatomy and the discipline required which cultivated her admiration for dancers and athletes alike.
Her interest in the healing arts began after experiencing a sudden panic attack. After receiving minimal explanation or guidance from doctors, she began to explore a holistic approach to self-care. Through regular sessions of acupuncture, massage therapy and breath work the panic attacks subsided and her nervous system improved. She became intrigued with the body’s ability to heal itself which led to her commitment to learn more through the study of massage and aromatherapy. Angelica is now invested in helping her clients achieve total wellness and awareness so that they
can be full participants in their own health journey.
After receiving an associate in massage therapy from Florida college of Natural Health and most recently completing eight months of training in Eastern massage modalities at Pacific College of Health in NY, she now holds massage therapy licenses in Fl, CT and NY. Angelica is currently working on a nursing degree that will lead to a nurse practitioner’s license with a focus on women’s health.
As a massage therapist she has worked with many athletes, young tennis players, the Cardinals baseball team during their summer training camp in West Palm Beach, the Blackzilian martial arts professionals headed by Rashed Evans, the Florida Ballet Company. She is also focused on post-surgery massage and the benefits of lymphatic drainage.
Angelica’s individualized and intuitive approach to massage is anchored in the believe that every person is unique and heals differently. She is well versed in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, pre- and post-natal massage, sports massage, Thai massage, reflexology, myofascial release and Lymphatic drainage. These modalities are blended in her sessions to create a bespoke, healing and luxurious experience for each client in a nurturing and safe environment.
Angelica’s other interests: Photography, motion graphics, web design, sculpting in white earthenware and porcelain, dance- ballet, flamenco, modern dance, African dance, exploring NYC, traveling, exploring gardens, the art of perfumery, home décor, walks in nature and creating beautiful memories with family and friends.
