Janelle Antonia Arias L.Ac MSTOM
From graceful pirouettes on stage to the delicate art of acupuncture, Janelle Antonia blends the worlds of dance, medicine, and holistic healing. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, with a background in English and Pre-Medical studies from the University of Florida. Janelle laid the foundation for a journey that would lead to receiving a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in Chinese herbs. Guided by curiosity to explore the intricacies of health and wellness, Janelle landed in the halls of Shands Hospital, where she shadowed the Chief of Surgery, gaining invaluable insights into the medical world. This led to an enriching internship at Columbia University's Student Health Center. Here, Janelle honed their skills in treating a spectrum of conditions, including insomnia, addiction, chronic pain, digestive disorders, gynecological and mental health challenges. Through their meticulous care and empathetic approach, they offered relief and healing to numerous students.
Beyond the realm of healthcare, Janelle finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. They can be found cruising along coastal roads on their longboard or riding the waves with finesse while surfing. Their passion for exploration and new experiences has taken them across the globe, immersing themselves in diverse cultures and broadening their horizons. Janelle is dedicated to guiding individuals toward holistic well-being and is on a mission to cultivate vibrant health and lasting wellness, one acupuncture session and adventure at a time.
